ABOUT ME
I’m Rob and I’m a Music Producer.
After completing a Maths degree at Leeds University in 2003, I went on to study music production and sound recording within the studios at Leeds Conservatoire. During this period, I also studied Jazz with renowned guitarist, Tom Quayle.
In 2008, I established Silent City Recording Studio in Leeds, becoming sought after for my rich and cinematic production style, always focussed on promoting the artist’s unique sound. From 2018, I focussed my experience and skills on Mixing and Mastering.
In 2020, I moved and set up a music production recording studio in York, UK. I run recording sessions at Hohm Recording Studio in Bradford as well as on location in North & West Yorkshire.
As a trained multi-instrumentalist, I draw inspiration from my eclectic background in Jazz music, Metal, Hip Hop, EDM, Pop, and Classical.
I work with everyone from independent DIY artists, to signed bands, to businesses. Past clients include: NHS, Erasmus, York St John University, Ex Cathedra, Alex Mendham & His Orchestra, B:Music, Mike Moran, Joey Sturgis Tones (USA), Tom Quayle.
